How the budget is allocated

The builder starts with a feasible low-cost basket from the researched catalogue, then looks for better requirement matches within the total allowance. Ergonomics increases the desk and chair allocation; performance increases the monitor allocation. Optional items receive a share only when selected. Every price is a planning estimate from the existing catalogue, not a live retailer quote.

What compatibility checks can establish

Desk width is checked against straight-across screen span plus gaps. A 90 cm chair and access allowance is added to desk depth. Standing mode requires a documented finished desk range covering sitting and standing estimates. An optional arm must support the monitor count, recorded weight and VESA pattern. Unverified computer outputs, dock modes, chair dimensions and desk clamp construction are explicitly left for checking.

Use your room measurements carefully

Enter the unobstructed room zone available to this setup, not the entire room when doors or other furniture occupy it. The calculator does not model door swings, radiators or walkways elsewhere in the room. Three screens means three in a straight row here; stacked or heavily angled arrangements need the separate layout and monitor-arm tools.

Refine the shortlist

Open alternatives on any component to see lower-cost or higher-priced choices that pass the known compatibility checks. Swapping updates the total and budget remainder. A missing required item is shown as a gap, not quietly omitted from a complete setup. If the budget cannot cover the catalogue’s cheapest suitable combination, reduce optional items or change the setup requirements.

Common questions

Does the total include a computer?

No. It covers the selected furniture, displays and accessories only. Delivery, batteries, adapters and other kit-specific extras may add cost. Confirm the retailer’s actual checkout total.

Is a 95 Fit Score a product review score?

No. It measures documented matches to your submitted requirements. It is rounded to five points, ignores affiliate commission and does not claim hands-on testing. Read the checks and unknowns alongside the number.

What is stored in a shared setup?

The link contains configuration measurements, preferences and product identifiers. There is no account or database. Anyone with the link can read its settings, so do not add names or contact details. Prices and product availability can change after sharing.
